Hurt and pain

I saw this pic on Fb and fell in love. What do you see in this pic? I have been hurt before and i am pretty sure you have too. Sometimes we carry hurt, pain, and anger from the past. Alot of times you just have to let go. Because you know what...KARMA is a Bitch and it will come back. Carrying all the baggage from the past can leave you exhausted, so why hold on. And alot of times we have to step back and look at ourselves. I personally will probably be single for a minute.  I keep attracting men that say one thing and do another. I'm at an age where I don't have time for games. Its like Im a good person  and caring so why am I attracting LOSERS..lol Maybe i need to look at me and stop giving people the benefit of the doubt. Also i need to go with my gut feeling. God gives me all the signs..smh I'm a hopeless romantic,so I'm not giving up on Love.  But i forgive them and i just know that i can't trust anyone but GOD! With that being said learn to forgive and move on. I know that it is easier said than done. It doesn't matter if you had a bad relationship, been raped, been abused, ect forgive for you not them.

Please Help a Sista out with making her dream Come True and Spread the Word! I love Fashion and i want to bring my boutique to VA and maybe beyond. Being sick has made me want to go after my dreams more. Last year i could barely get up and walk due to my fibromyalgia and other health issues. So now im ready to make my dreams come true. This will make it easier for me to bring handcrafted items and other goodies to the people. Plus if i have a flare up i don't have to go to a brick and mortar and the costs of having one won't be there. I will my handcrafted items, my grandmother's handmade clothing, vintage and local artists items. The Sky is the limit  Smooches:)

Black Men and Natural Hair

I have been Natural for about 2 1/2 years now. I reside in Hampton, Va now. I have gotten mixed reviews on being Natural. Last year i encountered a young black male yelling get your hair done while riding in the back seat of a car as it went past me. At the time i was wearing a fro and a butch looking broad with dreads was laughing histerically. I couldn't for my life get why it was so funny and why they had that mentality. Fast forward to the future. I met a guy last month and we talked for a couple weeks on the phone. So i thought he was a nice person and sane. Come to find out he was a confused soul...smh We met up and spent time with each other. I had my 2 strand twist in. He preceded to tell me he only likes and dates white women 0_o. Clearly he knew i wasn't white when he approached me. Then he says I'm bad but i would be badder if i had a relaxer. In the same breath he says he likes my hair and im exotic looking. I'm just going to pray for this Confused Soul. He came from a black woman and has hate for them and his self. And when i went a little ham, now I'm the "angry black woman" and thats why i don't date ya'll. With that being said i know there is some brothas out there that isn't as confused as this jigga. Sometimes i get that fits you or i like your hair. While other times its like im from a foreign country. When i wear wigs, i get more attention and its sad because i am not my hair and i am the same person either way. MY HAIR IS NOT STRESSED, so HELL NO I'm NOT RELAXING my HAIR for NOBODY!!!!!

This past weekend i had my first event with one of my businesses It Works http://www.miamor.myitworks.com . It was the 2nd Annual Curls for a Cause Fundraiser by Naturally Glam LLC, http://www.NaturallyGlamLLC.com. I had such a blast meeting new people and getting great information for my natural hair. I loved the goodie bag that i recieved as well with samples from Alikay Naturals, Worlds of Curls, Eden body works to name a few. It was a proud moment to see all the beautiful black women and versatilty of all the Natural hairstyles. But the best part was learning of the causes that they were fundraising for Beautiful Kids, children living with Alopecia. I donated a Gift Basket with Organo Gold coffee & tea( http://www.miamor.organogold.com) and a gift certificate for It Works. I entered the Raffle and won some gifts from Brown Sugar Naturals out of Richmond, Va. I will be doing a review soon on the products. I recieved Mango Pineapple Hair & Skin Oil, Peppermint Soap, and  Strawberry Lemonade Body Butter.
